Ankit Metal & Power Limited (AMPL) earlier initialised as Ankit Steel Works Private Limited in the year 2002 and was later on changed to Ankit Metal & Power Private Limited as on 09th July, 2004.
However, on 31st August, 2004 the status of the company changed to a Public Limited Company now known as Ankit Metal & Power Limited.
